Panasonic has announced three new 4K 60p camcorders designed to provide mobility, efficiency and affordability for small production houses and news gathering professionals.

The lightweight camcorders are ready to go off-the-shelf, and allow working professionals to respond to events as they happen with capabilities including live streaming support, optical image stabilisation, and super slow-motion recording; as well as the convenience of built-in lenses, long battery life, XLR audio input and ND filters.

Meet the latest addition to the Panasonic PTZ integrated camera range, the new AW-HE42, which offers a significant improvement in lensing, stabilisation and interfacing. This Full HD Integrated camera was showcased in June for the first time at InfoComm, one of the biggest global audio-visual events in the industry.

The AW-HE42 is designed to produce high-quality video and precise control and movement for demanding remote production and IMAG applications – such as broadcast, conference rooms, live events, staging, distance learning and houses-of-worship.

Panasonic Business has marked the 10th anniversary of its PTZ camera range by unveiling the latest addition to its PTZ lineup at NAB 2019, on a booth designed around seven designated solution areas, focused on broadcast, sports venues, and live production.

On show was the AW-HE42 Full HD remote PTZ camera offering a wide range of interfaces including 3G-SDI, HDMI, IP and Genlock. The HE42 features a wide horizontal viewing angle of 65.1 degrees, a 20x optical zoom, and 30x i.Zoom.

The Panasonic AG-CX350 camcorder is the first camcorder in the industry to provide NDI | HX connectivity1. Spearheading a new series, this model ensures smooth video transmission and camera control over IP for live events and web distribution.
